Meet adventure babe Court! She will be taking us on her trip to the Adirondack Mountains.

What are your TOP FIVE things to do in this area?

1. Go on a hike - there are so many trails all over the Adirondacks ranging from beginner to expert! Download AllTrails to find all the hidden gems or go for one of the big 46ERS! Always remember to leave no trace and recreate responsibility

2. Paddle the Dacks - the Adirondack Mountains are known for their lakes and rivers. There are countless ponds and docks to adventure in your canoe, kayak or boat

3. Pitch a tent and sleep under the stars - One of the unique features of the Adirondacks are their Lean-Tos, small camping structures available to the public. You can find them on a hike or even on an island! Check local maps for planning. Or book a site at a campground and have a fire by the lake

4. Ski the east - Whiteface Mountain was home to the Winter Olympics and boasts some beautiful vertical rise. It’s one of my favorite mountains to ski out east and offers beginner/expert terrain

5. Enjoy an evening walk and dinner by mirror lake - downtown Lake Placid offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a walk around Mirror Lake. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, but I highly recommend Smoke Signals!
